Rudiyanti dan Churun Ain)
Sungai Kranji terletak di Desa Jatirejo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota
Semarang memiliki potensi sebagai objek wisata river tubing. Tujuan penelitian
adalah mengetahui karakteristik, status mutu air, dan tingkat kesesuaian wisata
Sungai Kranji yang dijadikan objek wisata river tubing. Penelitian dilakukan di
Sungai Kranji pada bulan September tahun 2020 menggunakan metode survei dan
metode penginderaan jauh untuk sebagian data karakteristik dari data Digital
Elevation Model (DEM) yang diolah menggunakan softwareArcGIS 10.3. Metode
pengolahan data kualitas air menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP)
tercantum dalam Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 115 Tahun
2003. Baku mutu acuan adalah mutu air kelas II yang tercantum dalam Peraturan
Pemerintah Nomor 22 Tahun 2021. Tingkat kesesuaian wisata menggunakan
perhitungan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW). Hasil pengukuran lebar sungai
adalah 8,75 m; debit air 2,11 m
3
/detik dan kemiringan 17,78 m/km. Nilai tersebut
tergolong nilai ideal karakteritik sungai untuk wisata river tubing. Parameter
kualitas air diperoleh nilai suhu 29,27⁰C; TSS 0,12 mg/l; pH 7,34; DO 9,36 mg/l;
BOD 6,82 mg/l; COD 22 mg/l dan bakteri Escherichia coli 2.725 ind/100ml.
Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai IP sebesar 2,73 menandakan status mutu air
sungai tercemar ringan. Status mutu air tersebut sudah dan masih sesuai peruntukan
sebagai tempat rekreasi. IKW diperoleh nilai sebesar 87,50% tergolong sangat
sesuai (S1). Sungai Kranji sudah sesuai jika dijadikan sebagai objek wisata river
tubing.

Tubing, Semarang Kranji River Tourism Based on Water Characteristics and
Quality (Siti Rudiyanti andChurun Ain)
Kranji River is located in Jatirejo Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang
City. It has potential as a tourist attraction for river tubing. The purpose of the
study was to determine the characteristics, status of water quality, and the level of
suitability of Kranji River tourism for a river tubing tourist attraction. The research
was conducted on the Kranji River in September 2020 using survey methods and
remote sensing methods for some of the characteristic data from Digital Elevation
Model (DEM) data processed using ArcGIS 10.3 software. The method of
processing water quality data using the Pollution Index (IP) method is listed in the
Decree of the State Minister of the Environment Number 115 of 2003. The reference
quality standard is class II water quality listed in Government Regulation Number
22 of 2021. The level of tourism suitability uses the calculation of the Tourism
Suitability Index (IKW). The result of measuring river data is 8.75 m wide;
discharge is 2.11 m3/second and slope is 17.78 m/km. This value is classified as the
ideal value of river characteristics for river tubing tourism. The water quality
parameters obtained are temperature 29.27⁰C; TSS 0.12 mg/l; pH 7.34; DO 9.36
mg/l; BOD 6.82 mg/l; COD 22 mg/l and Escherichia coli bacteria 2.725 ind/100ml.
Based on the calculation results, the IP value of 2.73 indicates the quality status of
the river water is lightly polluted. The status of the water quality has been and is
still in accordance with its designation as a place of recreation. IKW obtained a
value of 87.50% classified as very suitable (S1). The Kranji River is appropriate
for a river tubing tourist attraction.
