Abstract
ABSTRACT
Naufal, Muhammad Luthfi. 2023. "Style of language and imagery on the album
Bestby SPYAIR (Stylistic Studies)". A Thesis of Japanese Language and Culture,
Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Thesis supervisor Nur Hastuti, S.S.,
M.Hum.
This study aims to describe the types of language styles and types of images
on the album Best by SPYAIR. The method used in this study is a structural
approach method using stylistic studies as an analytical tool. The data used in this
study are eight song lyrics belonging to SPYAIR in the album Best. The theory used
is Seto Kenichi's style theory and Rachmat Djoko Pradopo's theory of imagery.
Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that in the song lyrics in Best
album there are 7 types of language styles and 3 types of imagery.
