Fitri, Mutiara S. 2023.The Concept of Optimism in the Five Song Lyrics of
Sorezore no Isu Album by Nogizaka46. Japanese Language and Culture Program.
Undergraduate Thesis.
This study aims to study the concept of optimism contained in the five
song lyrics of the Sorezore no Isu album by Nogizaka46. This study uses the
structuralism method in analyzing the intrinsic elements of song lyrics, then the
results will be used as a basis for analyzing the concept of optimism contained in
the song lyrics studied. The material objects used are the five song lyrics in the
album Sorezore no Isu which were popularized by Nogizaka46. The formal
objects used are Herman J. Waluyo's theory of poetic structuralism, Michael
Riffaterre's theory of semiotics, and the concept of optimism by Snyder.
The results obtained from the analysis are that some of the song lyrics
studied have similarities in the structure of the poetry, both in of physical structure
and inner structure. Through this structural analysis, it is also known that the five
song lyrics studied each contain the concept of optimism.
