Abstract

The study aimed to compare sales volume and income of Gerbera flower farming business before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research location is at P4S Mitra Veteran Mandiri, Candi Village, Talun Hamlet, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research method used is a case study with census sampling, where the number of samples is 50 farmers. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis, including production costs, production volume, sales volume, receipts, income and difference analysis. The analysis was tested using a paired sample t-test to determine differences in sales volume and income before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research shows that the Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on sales volume and income of the Gerbera flower farming business at P4S Mitra Veteran Mandiri. The average sales volume before the Covid-19 pandemic (2018 and 2019) and during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020 and 2021) were 18,092 bundles/year and 9,125 bundles/year. The average income before and during the Covid-19 pandemic was Rp/m2/th 198,343,019/year and Rp/m2/th 21,129,154/year. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance of 0.000.
