Abstract

Librarians certainly have an interesting story about his experiences to tell. Nowadays with digital tools and software will make the librarian becomes more easy and convenient to create digital stories. The purpose this article is to describe digital storytelling like definition and element, characteristic component and process, learning, and culture change. The method used is descriptive. It is to describe the conditions that exist in the field related to the digital storytelling then analyzed with a literature review to reach understanding. The result about digital storytelling means discusses stories about various things that use digital multimedia. It uses new media tools and platforms to tell stories. Narrative and literacy in the digital storytelling based on digital technology so as storytelling or information also through digital media.
