ABSTRAK
Marcel Matheus. 26010117140039. Pemetaan Sebaran Spasial Fluks (CO2
) di
Pantai Pancuran, Karimunjawa (Agus Hartoko dan Sigit Febrianto)
Fluks CO2 merupakan proses pertukaran gas CO2
yang mengalir baik dari udara
ke laut dan sebaliknya. Dinamika fluks CO
2
berpengaruh terhadap fungsi suatu
perairan sebagai penyerap (sink) atau pelepas (source) CO2.
Perbedaan tekanan
parsial karbon mempengaruhi proses pertukaran CO
2
antara atmosfer dan lautan.
Untuk mengetahui variabilitas pertukaran CO2
antara laut dan atmosfer diperlukan
pengukuran sistem CO
2
. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sebaran
pemetaan nilai fluks CO
2
dan fungsi di Pantai Pancuran, Karimunjawa sebagai
Sink atau Source CO2
. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2020 di
Pantai Pancuran, Karimunjawa dan terdapat 8 stasiun pengambilan sampel. Materi
yang digunakan adalah sampel air laut. Metode yang digunakan untuk
pengambilan data lapangan yaitu metode purposive sampling. Variabel yang
diambil meliputi parameter kualitas air, sistem karbonat yang terdiri dari
Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) dengan metode titimetri, alkalinitas total
dengan metode titimetri, dan tekanan parsial CO
2
. Hasil penitian sebanyak 8
stasiun menunjukkan nilai DIC berkisar antara 1873,95 – 1999 µmol/kg, nilai
Total Alkalinitas berkisar antara 2080,40 – 2295,61 µmol/kg, nilai pCO2air
berkisar antara 394,48 - 410µatm, nilai pCO
2udara berkisar antara 372,84 – 374,46
µatm, sehingga mendapatkan nilai fluks CO
2
berkisar antara 6,54 – 13,29
mmol/m2/hari. Sebaran spasial nilai fluks CO
2
dengan metode interpolasi (IDW).
Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan nilai fluks CO
2
berkisar antara 6,53 – 13,29
mmol/m
2
/hari. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Pantai Pancuran, Karimunjawa
berperan sebagai pelepas (source) CO
2
di perairan.

ABSTRACT
Marcel Matheus 2010117140039. Spatial Distribution Mapping of Carbon
Dioxide Flux In Pancuran Beach, Karimunjawa Island (Agus Hartoko and Sigit
Febrianto)
CO2
flux dynamics affect the role of a waters, where waters can act as absorbers
or releasers. There is a difference in the partial pressure of carbon affecting the
process of exchange of CO
2
between the atmosphere and the ocean. To determine
the variability of the exchange of CO
2
between the ocean and the atmosphere, it is
necessary to measure the CO
2
system. The purpose of knowing the value of CO
2
flux and the role of the Pancuran beach as a sink or source. This research was
carried out in September 2020 at the Karimunjawa Pancuran Beach with 8
sampling points. The material used is sea water samples. The method used to
collect field data is purposive sampling method. The variables taken include water
quality parameters, carbonate system consisting of Dissolved Inorganic Carbon
(DIC) by titimemetry method, total alkalinity by titimetry method, and partial
pressure of CO
2
. The results obtained at 8 sampling points are; DIC values
ranged from 1873.95 – 1999 mol/kg, Total Alkalinity values ranged from 2080.40
– 2295.61 mol/kg, water pCO2 values ranged from 394.48 - 410µatm, air pCO2
values ranged from 372.84 – 374.46 atm, so that the CO2 flux values range from
6.54 to 13.29 mmol/m2/day. Spatial distribution of CO2 flux values using the
interpolation method (IDW). The results of the study showed that the value of
CO2 flux ranged from 6.53 to 13.29 mmol/m2/day. The conclusion is
Karimunjawa Pancuran Beach has a function as CO2
source in the waters.
