Abstract

ABSTRAK
Fadila Rizqi Amalia Husna, Analisis Beban Pencemaran dan Indeks Kualitas Air
di Sungai Tuntang Desa Delik Kecamatan Tuntang Kabupaten Semarang (Sutrisno
Anggoro dan Niniek Widyorini).
Sungai Tuntang adalah sungai besar yang terletak dalam wilayah
administrasi Kabupaten Semarang yang merupakan bagian dari wilayah
pengelolaan DAS Tuntang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air
Sungai Tuntang ditinjau dari parameter fisika kimia dengan metode indeks
pencemaran serta menganalisis dan mengetahui beban pencemaran Sungai Tuntang
dalam satuan hari kemudian merumuskan strategi pengendalian pencemaran.
Lokasi pengambilan sampel air sungai dibagi menjadi 5 stasiun (ST1, ST2, ST3,
ST4, dan ST5) dengan ST2 yang terletak di outlet limbah domestik dan ST4 yang
terletak di outlet limbah industri. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode studi kasus
dengan analisis deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive
sampling. Pengambilan sampel air sungai dilakukan pada tanggal 6 April 2022
pukul 12.00 WIB dan tanggal 20 April 2022 pukul 12.00 WIB di permukaan air
setelah limbah industri water provider dibuang ke perairan. Variabel yang dianalisis
yaitu temperatur, pH, BOD, COD, dan DO. Hasil analisis Indeks Pencemaran
menunjukkan bahwa Sungai Tuntang yakni tercemar ringan dengan nilai IP
pengamatan 1 sebesar 4,28 dan IP pada pengamatan 2 sebesar 3,78. Beban
pencemaran BOD COD pada pengamatan 1 yaitu rata-rata 44.997,614 kg/hari dan
pada pengamatan 2 yaitu 33.869,984 kg/hari dimana beban pencemaran tertinggi
terdapat di stasiun 1 dan terendah di stasiun 3. Analisis statistik dilakukan
menggunakan one way ANOVA dan diperoleh Probabilitas/ Sig. 0,214 > 0,05
sehingga terima H0 tolak H1. Adapun strategi pengendalian pencemaran air dapat
dilakukan dengan melakukan identifikasi sumber pencemar, penyuluhan kepada
masyarakat untuk melakukan pengolahan limbah, merealisasikan rencana
pembuatan IPAL industri maupun domestik, dan turut serta mencanangkan
program pemulihan kualitas air di Kecamatan Tuntang.

Fadila Rizqi Amalia Husna, Analysis of Pollution Load and Water Quality Index
in the Tuntang River, Delik Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency (Sutrisno
Anggoro and Niniek Widyorini).
Tuntang River is a large river located in the administrative area of Semarang
Regency, Central Java. This study aims to analyze the water quality of the Tuntang
River in terms of physicochemical parameters with the pollution index method and
analyze the pollution load of the Tuntang River in units of days and then formulate
a pollution control method. The water sampling location is divided into 5 stations
with station 2 located at the domestic sewage outlet and station 4 located at the
industrial waste outlet. The method used is a case study with descriptive analysis.
The sampling technique is purposive sampling technique, river water sampling is
carried out on April 6 and 20, 2022 at 12.00 WIB on the surface of the water after
industrial water supply waste is discharged into the waters. The variables analyzed
were temperature, pH, BOD, COD, and DO. The calculation of the Pollution Index
shows that the pollution status of the Tuntang River is lightly polluted with an IP
value for observation 1 of 4.28 and observation 2 of 3.78. BOD COD pollution load
at observation 1 was 44.997,614 kg/day and at observation 2 was 33.869,984
kg/day where the maximum pollution is at station 1 and the lowest is at station 3.
Statistical analysis was performed using one way ANOVA and obtained
Probability/Sig. 0.214 > 0.05 so accept H0 reject H1. Water pollution control
strategies are carried out by identifying pollutant sources, educating the public
about waste management, realizing industrial and domestic waste management
plans, and participating in launching a river water quality restoration program.
