Abstract

Erika Kusumaning Ayu. 26030118170001. Pengukuran Tingkat Teknologi
Dock Kapal Perikanan Menggunakan Metode Teknometrik di PT Tegal Shipyard
Utama, Cilacap (Faik Kurohman dan Kukuh Eko Prihantoko
PT Tegal Shipyard Utama cabang Cilacap adalah salah satu dari tiga perusahaan
dock kapal di PPS Cilacap. Perusahaan ini memiliki 3 (tiga) unit jalur slipway
dock dan 1 (satu) unit mesin penarik. Sehingga dalam operasionalisasi jalur
slipway dock digunakan secara bergantian menggunakan satu unit mesin penarik
yang tersedia. Tingkat teknologi yang digunakan oleh suatu perusahaan akan
mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan. Tingkat teknologi dapat diidentifikasi
berdasarkan 4 (empat) komponen yaitu technoware, humanware, orgaware dan
infoware. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahapan proses docking
kapal, menganalisis tingkat penerapan teknologi dan menyusun strategi
pengembangan perusahaan. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan
wawancara dengan responden berjumlah 22 (dua puluh dua) orang yang
merupakan tenaga kerja di lokasi penelitian. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah
analisis deskriptif, analisis teknometrik, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa proses docking di lokasi penelitian terdiri dari 4 (empat)
tahapan yaitu proses administrasi, proses penaikan kapal, proses perawatan kapal
dan proses penurunan kapal. Hasil analisis tingkat penerapan teknologi di lokasi
penelitian termasuk pada kategori semi modern dengan nilai TCC sebesar 0,58.
Strategi prioritas yang direkomendasikan adalah strategi SO melalui
pengembangan mesin dan peralatan, peningkatan dukungan pengadaan peralatan
dock dari perusahaan induk, peningkatan kualitas layanan dock yang efisien,
penggunaan peralatan dock secara efektif, penetapan kriteria tenaga kerja yang
kompeten, perluasan jejaring perusahaan, dan peningkatan kinerja pekerja.

PT Tegal Shipyard Utama Cilacap is one of the three ship dock companies in PPS
Cilacap. This company has 3 (three) units of slipway dock and 1 (one) unit of the
towing machine, so that in the operation of the slipway dock, it is used alternately
using one available towing machine unit. The level of technology used by a
company will affect the company's performance. The technology level can be
identified based on 4 (four) components (technoware, humanware, orgaware, and
infoware). This study to analyze the stages of the docking process, analyze the
level of technology and a company development strategy. The research method is
descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted using a literature study,
field observation, documentation, and interviews with 22 (twenty-two)
respondents. Data analysis carried out is descriptive analysis, Technometrics
analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the docking process
consisted of 4 (four) stages, the administrative process, the boarding process, the
ship maintenance process, and the launching process. The results of the analysis
of the level of technology application are included in the semi-modern category
with a TCC value of 0.58. The recommended priority strategy is the SO strategy
through the development of machinery and equipment, increasing support for the
procurement of dock equipment, improving the quality of efficient docking
services, effective use of dock equipment, determining competent workforce
criteria, expanding company networks, and improving employee performance.
