vannamei (Boone, 1931) (Subagiyo dan Ervia Yudiati)
Stresor biotik dan abiotik pada budidaya seperti menyebabkan penurunan
kualitas air sehingga menyebabkan penurunan sistem pertahanan tubuh dan
kelangsungan hidup pada udang. Salah satu upaya dalam mengatasi stresor
dengan meningkatkan sistem pertahanan tubuh udang melalui penggunaan
imunostimulan dari Alginat (Sargassum sp.) dan Spirulina (Spirulina sp.).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Alginat dan/atau
Spirulina secara oral terhadap respon imun humoral yaitu aktivitas Phenoloxidase
(PO) dan Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) pada Litopenaeus vannamei.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tahun 2019. Sampel hemolim didapatkan dari
Balai Besar Perikanan dan Budidaya Air Payau (BBPBAP), Jepara. Analisis
parameter humoral Litopenaeus vannamei berupa aktivitas PO dan SOD
dilakukan di Laboratorium Marine Science Techno Park (MSTP), Fakultas
Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Diponegoro, Jepara. Parameter tersebut
dilakukan analisis data secara kuantitatif, untuk mengetahui dosis yang terbaik
dari perlakuan Alginat dan/atau Spirulina dengan suplementasi selama 60 hari.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan udang dengan waktu pemeliharaan selama 30
hari hingga 60 hari menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas PO terbesar secara
berurutan terjadi pada perlakuan Alg 3g+Spiru 5 mg/kg (22,74%) dan Alg 3g/kg
(13,18%). Penurunan aktivitas PO sebesar 19,44% terjadi pada perlakukan Spiru 5
mg/kg. Analisis aktivitas SOD selama masa pemeliharaan 30 hari hingga 60 hari
menunjukkan penurunan sebesar 20,43%, 50,38% dan 50,75% masing-masing
secara berurutan pada perlakuan Alg 3g/kg, Spiru 5mg/kg dan Alg 3g+Spiru 5
mg/kg. Secara keseluruhan perlakuan suplementasi Alg 3g+Spiru 5 mg/kg pada
pakan udang menunjukkan hasil terbaik dalam peningkatan respon imun nonspesifik udang.

Abiotic and biotic stressors in aquaculture such as result in a decrease in
water quality, defense system, and survival rate of shrimp. One of the attempts to
overcome stress is to increase the shrimp's defense system through the use of
immunostimulants from Alginate (Sargassum sp.) and Spirulina (Spirulina sp.).
This result aims to determine the effect of oral supplementation of Alginate and/or
Spirulina on the diet towards humoral immune response Phenoloxidase (PO) and
Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) activity in Litopenaeus vannamei.
This research was conducted from 2019. Hemolymph samples were
obtained from the Center for Brackish Water Aquaculture and Fisheries
(BBPBAP), Jepara. The analysis was carried out at the Marine Science Techno
Park (MSTP) Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro
University, Jepara. These parameters were analyzed enzymatically, quantitatively
and spectrophotometrically.
The results showed that shrimp reared for 30 days to 60 days increased the
PO activity in the treatments namely Alg 3g+Spiru 5 mg/kg (22.74%) and Alg
3g/kg (13.18%). The decrease in PO activity of 19.44% occurred in the Spiru 5
mg/kg treatment. Analysis of SOD activity during the 30- to 60-day rearing period
showed a decrease of 20.43%, 50.38%, and 50.75%, in the treatment of Alg
3g/kg, Spiru 5mg/kg, and Alg 3g+Spiru 5 mg/kg, respectively. It can be
concluded that the supplementation of Alg 3g+Spiru 5 mg/kg in shrimp feed
showed the best results to increase the non-specific immune response of shrimp.
