ABSTRAK
Dhany Ajiperwata. 26050118120006. Sebaran Spasial Material Padatan
Tersuspensi di Perairan PLTU Tanjung Jati, Jepara dengan Pendekatan
Penginderaan Jauh.

ABSTRACT
Dhany Ajiperwata. 26050118120006. Suspended Solids Spatial Distribution in
PLTU Tanjung Jati Waters, Jepara Using Remote Sensing Approach. Elis
Indrayanti and Baskoro Rochaddi
PLTU Tanjung Jati is an important activity center in renewing the largest
electrical energy on the java island. Tanjung Jati waters are used as a
transportation channel for coal supply for fuel needs and cooling water supply and
hot water from the power plant so that it can affect the surrounding waters
condition, one of which is total suspended solids (TSS). This study aims to determine
the distribution of TSS using Sentinel -2 imagery. This research was conducted on
October 25, 2021 in PLTU Tanjung Jati Waters, Jepara. TSS and Reflectance
Remote Sensing (RRS) data obtained from the sentinel site Copernicus recording
on October 25, 2021, Sentinel-2 satellite image have a 10 m resolution. Sentinel-2
satellite image data is processed with a new algorithm approach from the results
of the red channel image reflectance equation. The results showed that the TSS
concentration obtained from field observations ranged in value between 14,833
mg/l - 36,032 mg/l, while based on TSS analysis with satellite imagery it was 16,242
mg/l – 36,491 mg/l. The TSS refraction accuracy value is 0.0001. The RMSE TSS
value is 2,704 mg/l. These results can be used as a TSS interpretation in the PLTU
Tanjung Jati Waters, Jepara in policy making by the local government.
