Berdasarkan Pengolahan Digital Citra Satelit Sentinel-2B di Perairan Pulau
Karimunjawa, Provinsi Jawa Tengah (Muhammad Helmi dan Warsito
Atmodjo)
Kedalaman perairan dapat memberikan berbagai informasi penting mengenai suatu
area laut. Umumnya pengukuran kedalaman dilakukan dengan survei lapangan,
namun hal tersebut tidak dapat menjangkau area perairan dangkal dengan biaya,
waktu, dan biaya operasional yang lebih tinggi. Data kedalaman perairan dangkal
di Pulau Karimunjawa cukup penting karena dapat dimanfaatkan untuk
perencanaan pemanfaatan zona peraian dangkal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengkaji kemampuan citra satelit digital Sentinel-2B untuk pemetaan kedalaman
perairan dangkal di Pulau Karimunjawa, Jawa Tengah dan mengkaji pola spasial
kedalaman perairan dangkal hasil pengolahan citra Satelit Sentinel-2B. Penelitian
ini menggunakan data citra satelit Sentinel-2B dengan tiga saluran multispektral,
yaitu saluran merah, saluran hijau, dan saluran biru dan diintegrasikan dengan data
kedalaman insitu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan
menggunakan metode perbandingan ratio dari Stumpf untuk mendapatkan
kedalaman perairan dari citra Satelit Sentinel-2B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
pengolahan digital Citra Satelit Sentinel-2B dapat digunakan untuk pemetaan dan
analisis pola spasial perairan dangkal dengan persamaan y=0,9076x – 1,9094 dan
tingkat pengaruh yang tinggi (R² = 0,94) antara ratio citra band 2 (saluran biru)
dengan band 3 (saluran hijau) terhadap data survei kedalaman dengan tingkat
kesalahan yang rendah (RMSE = 2,31). Area studi didominasi oleh perairan
dangkal dengan kedalaman 0 -20 meter dibawah MSL.

Digital Processing of Sentinel-2B Satellite Imagery in Karimunjawa Island, Central
Java (Muhammad Helmi dan Warsito Atmodjo)
The depth of the sea waters can provide a variety of important information about
an area of the sea. In general, depth measurements of sea are carried out by field
surveys that cannot reach shallow water areas with higher costs, time and
operational costs. Shallow water depth data on Karimunjawa Island is quite
important because it can be used for planning the use of shallow water zones. The
purpose of this study was to examine the ability of digital satellite imagery
Sentinel-2B for mapping shallow water depths in Karimunjawa Island, Central
Java and to examine the spatial pattern of shallow water depths as a result of
image processing from the Sentinel-2B Satellite Imagery in Karimunjawa Island,
Central Java. This study uses Sentinel-2B satellite imagery data with three
multispectral channels; Red Band, Green Band, and Blue Band and the results is
integrated with insitu depth data. The method used in this research is the ratio
band comparison method from Stumpf to get the water depth from the Sentinel-2B
satellite imagery. The results showed that the digital processing of Sentinel-2B
Satellite Imagery can be used for mapping and analyzing shallow water spatial
patterns with formula equation y=0,9076x – 1,9094 and with a high level of
influence (R² = 0.94) between the ratio of band 2 (blue band) and band 3 (green
band) images to the data depth survey with low error rate (RMSE = 2.31). The
study area is dominated by shallow waters with a depth between 0 -20 meters
below MSL.
