Perairan Untuk Pengembangan Wisata Bahari Di Pantai Karang Jahe, Rembang
(Ambariyanto dan Munasik).
Wilayah pesisir merupakan wilayah peralihan antara darat dan laut yang
teridir dari komponen ekologi dan komponen fisik. Komponen ekologi terdiri dari
binatang dan tumbuhan sedangkan komponen fisik adalah muara, pasir pantai dan
perairan sekitar pesisir. Komponen tersebut dimanfaatkan menjadi lokasi wisata.
Pantai Karang Jahe merupakan salah satu objek wisata dengan komoditi pasir
pantai putih dan pohon cemara laut sepanjang garis pantai serta memiliki potensi
dengan keberadaan ekosistem terumbu karang yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk
pengembangan wisata. Kegiatan wisata yang memanfaatkan sumberdaya yang
berada di suatu lokasi untuk menjadi objek wisata memiliki dampak bagi kondisi
ekosistem yang ada dilokasi tersebut. Penilaian terhadap kondisi ekosistem dan
wisata perlu dilakukan agar fungsi alami ekosistem tetap terjaga sehingga
fungsinya sebagai objek pemanfaatan dalam kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat masih
dapat digunakan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi
perairan dan ekosistem di lokasi sebagai objek wisata bahari.
Penelitian dilakukan pada September 2019 di perairan pantai Karang Jahe,
Rembang. Metode penentuan titik sampling dilakukan dengan metode purposive
sampling pada 3 titik lokasi terumbu karang di sekitar perairan. Metode pendataan
karang dilakukan dengan metode LIT dengan transek 100 meter. Metode yang
digunakan pada pengambilan data ikan karang adalah dengan sensus visual (Visual
Census sejauh 2,5 meter ke kiri dan kanan transek. Analisa data dilakukan dengan
menggunakan pedoman parameter penilaian kesesuaian kawasan untuk wisata
snorkeling, selam, pancing dan berperahu.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan data persentase tutupan
terumbu karang hanya bernilai antara 20-30% dengan presentase tertinggi 35,05%
pada stasiun 2 pada kedalaman 6 meter. Pengukuran kondisi perairan menunjukkan
bahwa perairan memiliki kategori perairan yang cukup sesuai untuk wisata sesuai
baku mutu yaitu suhu 31-32℃; salinitas 31-32‰; pH 7; dan DO 10,2-10,6 mg/l.
Kecepatan arus pada perairan tergolong arus lambat yaitu paling tinggi 6,6
cm/detik. Jenis ikan yang dapat ditemukan di lokasi terdiri dari famili Siganidae,
Lutjanidae dan Chaetodonitidae. Perhitungan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata pada
stasiun penelitian berdasarkan jenis wisata pada wisata snorkeling nilai IKW<1.0;
pada wisata selam nilai IKW <1.0 dan 1.0≤IKW<2.0; pada wisata pancing nilai
IKW adalah 1.0≤IKW<2.0 sedangkan nilai IKW pada wisata perahu berada di
antara 16-19. Karang Jahe tidak sesuai untuk wisata snorkeling, selam dan
memancing, tetapi sesuai untuk wisata perahu.

Water's Suitability For The Development of Marine Tourism in Karang Jahe
Beach, Rembang (Ambariyanto and Munasik).
Coastal areas are transitional areas between land and sea consisting of
ecological and physical components. The ecological component consists of
animals and plants while the physical component is the estuary, beach sand, and
waters around the coast. These components are used as tourist sites. Karang Jahe
Beach is one of the tourist attractions with commodities of white beach sand and
sea pine trees along the coastline. It has the potential for the existence of coral reef
ecosystems that can be utilized for tourism development. Tourism activities that
utilize the resources in a location to become a tourist attraction impact the
condition of the ecosystem in that location. An assessment of the condition of
ecosystems and tourism needs to be carried out so that the natural function of the
ecosystem is maintained so that its function as an object of utilization in community
economic activities can still be used properly.
This study aims to determine the condition of the waters and ecosystems in
the location as a marine tourism object.
The research was conducted in September 2019 in the coastal waters of
Karang Jahe, Rembang. The method of determining the sampling point was carried
out by purposive sampling method at 3 points of coral reef locations around the
waters. The Coral data collection method was carried out using the LIT method
with a 100-meter transect. The method used in data collection of reef fish is a visual
census (Visual Census as far as 2.5 meters to the left and right of the transect. Data
analysis is carried out using parameter guidelines for assessing area suitability for
snorkeling, diving, fishing, and boating tours.
The results showed that based on data the percentage of coral reef cover was
only worth between 20-30% with the highest percentage of 35.05% at station 2 at
a depth of 6 meters. Measurement of water conditions shows that the waters have
water categories that are quite suitable for tourism according to quality standards,
namely temperatures of 31-32℃; salinity 31-32‰; pH 7; and DO 10.2-10.6 mg/l.
The current speed in the waters is classified as slow current, which is the highest
at 6.6 cm/second. The types of fish that can be found at the location consist of the
families Siganidae, Lutjanidae, and Chaetodonitidae. The calculation of the
Tourism Suitability Index at the research station based on the type of tourism is on
the snorkeling tour, the IKW value <1.0; in diving tourism, IKW <1.0 and
1.0≤IKW<2.0; on fishing tours, the IKW value is 1.0≤IKW<2.0 while the IKW
values on boat tours are between 16-19. Conditions of coral reefs and waters of Karang Jahe waters are not suitable for snorkeling, diving, and fishing tourism,
but suitable for boat tourism.
