Usaha Penangkapan Pancing Ulur di PPN Palabuhanratu, Kabupaten Sukabumi
Jawa Barat (Trisnani Dwi Hapsari dan Hendrik Anggi Setyawan)
Hal yang paling penting dalam menghasilkan suatu produksi yaitu faktor
produksi, dengan dikelolanya faktor produksi secara efisien dapat menghasilkan
kenaikan produksi yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengindentifikasi faktor-faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi hasil tangkapan
nelayan pancing ulur di PPN Palabuhanratu dan menganalisis faktor produksi
yang paling dominan dan berpengaruh terhadap hasil tangkapan nelayan pancing
ulur di PPN Palabuhanratu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
metode deskriptif yang bersifat studi kasus dan metode pengambilan sampel yang
digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah 40 responden. Metode
analisis yang digunakan berupa uji asumsi klasik dan fungsi produksi CobbDouglas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berperan nyata
terhadap unit penangkapan pancing ulur di PPN Palabuhanratu adalah jumlah
mata pancing (X1), jumlah cool box (X2), daya mesin (X3), jumlah ABK (X4),
pengalaman nahkoda (X5), jumlah BBM (X6) dan total berat umpan (X7).
Hubungan antara faktor-faktor produksi dengan hasil tangkapan pancing ulur di
PPN Palabuhanratu dapat direpresentasikan dalam model Cobb Douglas sebagai

yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu faktor-faktor produksi yang memberikan
pengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tangkapan pancing ulur yaitu jumlah mata pancing,
jumlah cool box, daya mesin, jumlah ABK, pengalaman nahkoda, jumlah BBM
dan total berat umpan. Faktor produksi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap hasil
tangkapan pancing ulur adalah jumlah BBM.

Optimal fishery production results are supported by efficiently managed
production factors. This research aims to identify and analyze the production
factors that may affect the productivity of the hand-line fishery at Palabuhanratu
Fishing Port. The method used in this study is the descriptive method with
purposive sampling as the sampling method. The total of respondents used in this
research is 40 respondents. The method of data analysis in this research is used
the classical assumption test and the Cobb-Douglas production function.
Throughout all of the analyses in this research, which leads to the significantly
affecting factor in the handline fishing unit are the number of fishing hooks (X1),
the number of coolboxes (X2), the engine power (X3), the number of crew
members (X4), the skipper’s experience (X5), the amount of fuel (X6), and the
total weight of fishing baits (X7). The correlation between production factors and
hand-line catches at Palabuhanratu Fishing Port can be represented in the Cobb

. The factor production that significantly affect the hand line fishering are
the number of hooks, the number of coolboxes, engine power, number of crew
members, the skipper’s experience, the amount of fuel, and the total weight of
fishing baits. In addition, the most impacting production factor on the catch of
hand line fishing is the amount of fuel.
