Perairan Pantai Kartini dan Muara Sungai Wiso Kabupaten Jepara (Hadi
Endrawati dan Gunawan Widi Santosa)
Perairan Jepara merupakan lokasi perairan yang tergolong banyak aktivitas
manusia. Aktivitas manusia yang ada pada Perairan Jepara terdapat pada beberapa
titik lokasi salah satunya adalah Pantai Kartini dan Muara Sungai Wiso. Aktivitas
wisatawan, tambak, kapal, penangkapan ikan dan BBPAP Jepara di khawatirkan
akan mempengaruhi kualitas perairan dan menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas
perairan, perubahan komposisi dan kelimpahan zooplankton. Tujuan dari penelit ian
ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas zooplankton di Perairan Pantai
Kartini dan Muara Wiso Kabupaten Jepara.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pantai Kartini dan Muara Wiso, Kabupaten
Jepara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif
eksploratif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Purposive sampling.
Penelitian ini terbagi atas 4 stasiun di setiap lokasi. Pengambilan sampel
zooplankton dengan cara aktif. Analisis dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi Laut
Jurusan Ilmu Kelautan, FPIK, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Parameter yang
dianalisis dalam penelitian ini meliputi: Kelimpahan zooplankton, Indeks
Keanekaragaman, Indeks Keseragaman dan Indeks Dominansi dan parameter
pendukung yang diukur meliputi: Suhu, Salinitas, Kecerahan, DO, Derajat
Keasaman (pH).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 27 genera dari 4 fila telah ditemukan
di 4 stasiun perairan Pantai Kartini dan 22 genera dari 3 fila di Muara Sungai Wiso.
Kelimpahan zooplankton Pantai Kartini berkisar 85.60 – 437.39 ind/L. Kelimpaha n
zooplankton pada Muara Wiso sebesar 116.17 – 250.68 ind/L. Indeks
Keanekaragaman zooplankton pada Pantai Kartini menunjukkan nilai 2.06 – 2.35
dan perairan Muara Sungai wiso sebesar 1.18 – 2.16 yang termasuk kategori
sedang. Indeks Keseragaman zooplankton Pantai Kartini menunjukkan nilai 0.83 –
0.95 dan perairan Muara Sungai Wiso sebesar 0.73 – 0.90 termasuk kategori tinggi.
Indeks Dominansi zooplankton Pantai Kartini sebesar 0.05 – 0.17 dan perairan
Muara Sungai Wiso sebesar 0.10 – 0.27 termasuk dalam kategori tidak ada yang
mendominasi.

Jepara waters are water locations that are classified as many human
activities. Human activities in the waters of Jepara are found at several locations,
one of which is Kartini beach and Wiso River estuary. The activities of tourists,
ponds, ships, and fishing are feared to affect the quality of the waters and cause a
decrease in water productivity, changes in the composition and abundance of
zooplankton. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the
zooplankton community in the waters of Kartini Beach and Muara Wiso, Jepara
Regency.
This research was conducted at Kartini Beach and Muara Wiso, Jepara
Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive exploratory method with
data collection using purposive sampling method. This research is divided into 4
stations in each location. Sampling of zooplankton in an active way. The analysis
was carried out at the Marine Biology Laboratory, Department of Marine Science,
FPIK, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Parameters analyzed in this study
include: Zooplankton abundance, Diversity Index, Uniformity Index and
Dominance Index and supporting parameters measured include: Temperature,
Salinity, Brightness, DO, Degree of Acidity (pH).
The results showed that 27 genera of 4 phyla have been found at 4 stations
in Kartini Beach waters and 22 genera of 3 phyla at Wiso Estuary. The abundance
of zooplankton on Kartini Beach ranged from 85.60 to 437.39 ind/L. The abundance
of zooplankton in the Wiso estuary is 116.17 – 250.68 ind/L. Index The diversity of
zooplankton on Kartini Beach shows a value of 2.06 – 2.35 and the waters Muara
Wiso is 1.18 – 2.16. Uniformity Index The zooplankton of Kartini Beach shows a
value of 0.83 – 0.95 and the waters of Muara Wiso are 0.73 – 0.90 were including
high category. The Dominance Index of Kartini Beach zooplankton is 0.05 – 0.17
and the waters of Muara Wiso of 0.10 – 0.27 that was categorized of no dominancy.
