Abstract

Jalan Pandanaran is one of the strategic roads in Semarang City that
connects Tugu Muda and Simpang Lima. However, Jalan Pandanaran is
often a source of congestion due to the unorganized parking area on the
side of the road. To solve this problem, Semarang City Government built an
11-story parking building which is located next to Bank BRI and occupies
the land of Semarang City Health Office. The parking building is equipped
with lift facilities and a skybridge as the main link. The purpose of this
research was to examine the relationship between skybridge settings and
perceptions of comfort and accessibility. The method used is quantitative
with descriptive statistical data analysis and crosstab. Collecting data by
distributing closed-form questionnaires to find out the interests, goals of
interest, and expectations of skybridge users. The results of this research
indicate that there is a relationship or relationship between the skybridge
setting on the comfort and accessibility attributes with a median value of
22.5 and those with a greater value indicating a relationship or linkage as in
the research objective.
