Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu kota yang harus mampu mengeluarkan
potensi dari komoditas - komoditas unggulan yang dimiliki guna memperbaiki
perkembangan pembangunan ekonomi didaerahnya untuk bersaing dipasar ekspor.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh keunggulan
komparatif, keunggulan kompetitif dan proses ekspor udang beku di CV. Riz
Samudera ke pasar China. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli – November 2022.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara bersama dengan responden
yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil wawancara analisis
daya saing keunggulan komparatif dipengaruhi oleh 4 faktor yaitu faktor produksi,
nilai tukar, inflasi, hambatan perdagangan. Faktor produksi yaitu pengaruh yang
berasal dari kualitas udang yang akan digunakan untuk ekspor, nilai tukar memiliki
pengaruh terhadap kegiatan ekspor karena apabila nilai tukar semakin tinggi maka
jumlah ekspor akan mengalami penurunan dikarenakan barang – barang yang berada
di dalam negeri mengalami kenaikan harga, inflasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap
kegiatan ekspor karena apabila terjadi kenaikan inflasi maka produk dalam negeri
akan mengalami kenaikan sehingga akan sulit bersaing dengan produk impor maka
nilai ekspor akan menurun, hambatan perdagangan yaitu persaingan yang terjadi
antara udang beku yang berasal dengan negara lain. Hasil wawancara
analisis daya saing keunggulan kompetitif dipengaruhi oleh kondisi permintaan dan
kondisi faktoral. Kondisi permintaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kegiatan ekspor
karena permintaan udang beku di pasar internasional cukup tinggi, kondisi faktoral
memiliki pengaruh terhadap kegiatan ekspor karena infrastruktur dan tenaga kerja
Indonesia mndukung adanya budidaya udang dan kegiatan ekspor di Indonesia.
Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil wawancara proses ekspor udang beku yaitu
diawali dengan proses budidaya udang yang dimulai dari persiapan tambak,
selanjutnya setelah 3 hari dilakukan pengapuran, pengisian air, lalu penebaran benur
dan tambak yang digunakan tidak terbebas dari bahan kimia/pestisida, pembekuan
udang yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Individual Quick Frozen (IQF),
pemasaran yang dilakukan menggunakan forwarder, persiapan dokumen ekspor
untuk kegiatan ekspor yaitu Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) dan
Certificate of Origin (COO), pengiriman menggunakan truk
berefrigerasi dengan suhu ≤ 5

The city of Semarang is one of the cities that must be able to unleash the
potential of its superior commodities to improve the development of economic
development in the region to compete in the export market. The purpose of this study
was to determine the effect of comparative advantage, competitive advantage and
the frozen shrimp export process at CV. Riz Samudera to the Chinese market. The
research was conducted in July – November 2022.
This research was conducted by means of joint interviews with predetermined
respondents. The results of this study indicate that the interview results of
comparative advantage competitiveness analysis are influenced by 4 factors,
namely factors of production, exchange rates, inflation, trade barriers. The
production factor, namely the influence that comes from the quality of the shrimp
that will be used for export, the exchange rate has an influence on export activities
because if the exchange rate is higher, the amount of exports will decrease because
goods that are in the country experience price increases, inflation has an effect on
export activities because if there is an increase in inflation, domestic products will
increase so that it will be difficult to compete with imported products, the export
value will decrease, trade barriers, namely competition between frozen shrimp
originating from other countries. The results of interviews on competitiveness
analysis of competitive advantage are influenced by demand conditions and factoral
conditions. Demand conditions have an influence on export activities because the
demand for frozen shrimp in the international market is quite high, factoral
conditions have an influence on export activities because Indonesia's infrastructure
and workforce support shrimp cultivation and export activities in Indonesia. The
results of this study indicate that the interview results for the process of exporting
frozen shrimp, namely starting with the shrimp cultivation process starting from
pond preparation, then after 3 days liming, filling with water, then stocking fry and
the ponds used are not free from chemicals/pesticides, freezing shrimp which is done
using the Individual Quick Frozen (IQF) method, marketing is done using a
forwarder, preparation of export documents for export activities, namely Hazard
Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Certificate of Origin (COO), shipping
using refrigerated trucks with temperatures ≤ 5
